LS Industrial Systems, which is currently under smooth construction of its ultra high voltage transformer and stainless heavy wall steel pipe mill that the company commenced in November last year, is expected to start up its new stainless roll bending facilities in coming November.
LS Industrial Systems was initially scheduled to start operating the roll bending facilities in the middle of October this year but the actual startup of the facilities are expected to lag behind the original schedule by one month due to the delay in the delivery of some equipments.
Once the roll bender installation is completed with an annual production capacity of 45,000 tons, LS Industrial Systems will be capable to producing heavy wall stainless steel pipes with 12 meters at the longest in length, 9-60 mm in thickness and 355-1,219 mm in outer diameter.
Meanwhile, LS Industrial Systems plans to deliver its stainless heavy wall pipes, ordered by Hyundai Construction, to the construction company, starting from December this year.
